Innovation in Language Learning

Stan Steiner, Professor and Chair of the Literacy, Language and Culture Department at Boise State University specializes in children's and young adult literature, reading motivation, multicultural literature, using literature across the disciplines, raising social consciousness, and language development. He was a classroom teacher for 15 years prior to earning his doctorate from the University of Wyoming and presently teaching at Boise State University. He has published over 75 articles, 5 books, and multiple book chapters throughout his career.
