In order to acquire skills needed for successful adaptation of future graduates to labor market requirements, the lessons of practical electric drives must be designed rigorously.
To improve students' understanding I introduced the concept of " technological scheme "This scheme allows the learner to achieve sizing motherboard that will mount equipment and also choosing the length of the connection wires in economic conditions.
I also used computer programs to motivate students to understand how working.
The results show how students were motivated by how to work in making equipment panels for operating electric motors and how they have acquired the skills needed for their chosen profession, the final assessment being performed by the final qualification certificate obtained through a final exam of the competences.
