New Perspectives in Science Education

Nowadays, the issue  of the environment and climate change become the center of attention of the whole country in the world. Climate change causes extreme weather across the country and disasters e.g. heat temperature attacked in India, drought and floods in Indonesia, raise the intensity of the sudden storm in America, and tsunami in japan. One of the causes climate change is global warming. Global warming is caused by emission greenhouse gasses that produce from human activities e.g. burning fossil fuels, deforestation, conversion of wetlands, and many others. Addressing this issue, the united nations have put the issue of environmental change and its impact into a target of achieving sustainable development in 2030, known as the sustainable development goals. The targets are to improve education about the environment, an increased an awareness of the human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaption, and early warning. It is necessary for the role of education in order to solve environmental problems, climate change and its impacts. Environmental education and understanding of climate change aims to provide knowledge to the student about the causes and effects of global warming, the greenhouse effect and climate change for life and can figure out a solution and Efforts to Overcome the environmental problems from climate changes.
