Abstract
The latest guidelines in higher education, suggest that students must demonstrate transferable skills and therefore, it is clearly necessary to develop and implement learning-teaching methodologies that enable students to achieve different levels domain of skills.
Another important aspect to note is the lack of student motivation to the challenges in the subject and that is why this experience aims to improve the integration between theory and practice as a tool to overcome the lack of motivation and consequently improve the academic performance and student participation.
Throughout this course we will experiment with learning-teaching methodologies that contribute to skills training, mainly transferable, to give credit for skills training of our students.
In particular, the integration between theory and practice will be encouraged to see their contribution to different transferable skills in different subjects and degrees to study the differences and similarities found in this process and exploit synergies.
Mainly transferable skills are incorporated: "Practical Application and Thought" and "Knowledge of Contemporary Problems" in the degrees of Public Administration and Management and Business Administration and Management at the Universitat Politècnica de València.
