Abstract

In this paper we shall try to illustrate the significance of the electronic educational and methodical complex discipline of History of Asia and Africa in the Middle Ages for students of the Historical Faculty. Let me therefore begin with the electronic educational resources becoming more popular in higher education for the twenty-first century. The electronic resource is designed for second-year students to expand knowledge on the medieval history of Eastern countries.

The first thing to be noticed is when developing a resource we've created electronic versions of lectures and practical lessons plans; presentations for lectures on selected problems of the medieval history of the studied regions. Then we have identified the key terms and concepts that should be learned by students. We also investigated the video materials, maps and illustrations on the History of the countries of Asia and Africa in the Middle ages. We have studied the medieval historical sources, published on the website "Eastern literature"; systematized training, scientific and fiction literature. We have prepared the tests for each topic of Lecture course.

On the whole, you can learn discipline, run tests and assignments at any time, and not only in the audience. In conclusion, we must say that electronic educational resource allows you to discuss the main problems of History of Asia and Africa in the Middle Ages. Electronic charts, videos and illustrations provide full disclosure of the Lecture course, allow students in bright, fun way to get acquainted with the history and culture of African and Asian countries, to submit a picture of the daily life of a peasant, artisan and trader.
