Olga Dragomyretska is the senior lecturer of language department of the Training center for foreign students of Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
Olga graduated in Philology Sciences – Romano-Germanic philology from the Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University in 2010. Since then she has constantly been working in the field of motivation of foreign language learning through active nonstandard methods.
Olga has been working with students with different knowledge of language (at the preparatory department with students with zero language knowledge and at the main courses of university (1-4 years)).
One year ago she was assigned as vice-dean of Training center for foreign students of Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Since then she has been involved there as manager of correspondence with foreign students, interpreter and poster designer.
She has published study guides for the discipline “Russian as a foreign language” for practical trainings for foreign students studying at 3 year of Economy, Construction and Architecture specializations. She has developed several learning aids for improving communication skills.
She has participated in 9 international conferences and in teacher study courses of didactics at the university of Lorraine in France and the university Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University in Ukraine.
Areas of interest: methods of nonstandard language learning, interactivity in foreign language learning, enhancing of student’s motivation, cross-cultural communication, transnational cooperation, higher education, adult education, e-learning (by skype, webinar) , language learning.
