Simone Donati is Associate Professor at the Department of Physics of the University of Pisa, Italy and Director of the Summer School of the University of Pisa “Summer Students at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab, US) and other US Laboratories”.
Simone graduated in Physics form the University of Pisa in 1993 and got his PhD in Physics from the University of Pisa in 1997. His research is in the field of elementary particle physics performed particle accelerators. Since graduation, for the last 24 years, he has constantly been working on the international cooperation between Fermilab and Italian universities and Istituto National di Fisica Nucleare mainly focusing on higher education.
