Nicklas Müller

Nicklas Müller obtained a Master of Education in biology and geography in 2016 from the University of Bremen. He wrote his master thesis within the framework of an interdisciplinary teacher training program. He evaluated the impact of the practical course on the teacher students´ professional development, their system competence and their Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK)

Currently he is working on his PhD thesis at the University of Bremen (Institute for Science Education, Biology). He develops a training program to foster the teacher students’ system competence and their knowledge how to promote this competence. Furthermore, he develops a tool to measure the system competence of teacher students.
