Samantha Prior

Samantha Prior graduated from the University of Limerick a Bachelor of Science (Education) degree. Her degree specialised in the areas of Biology, Chemistry and Agricultural Science. She also has a Masters Degree in Science Education.
In September 2015, Samantha worked on the EU funded project- ConSuS Tempus which involved the development of teaching resources in collaboration with universities in Albania, Kosovo, Austria and Germany.
She was co-coordinator of the SFI funded Cell Explorers which promoted hands on science at primary school level. Samantha has a massive interest in Science Outreach and has been involved in many initiatives over the past number of years.
From 2015-2019, Samantha is worked as a University Teacher in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Limerick and was involved in the teaching of many Biology and Science Pedagogy modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
