New Perspectives in Science Education

Munirah Shaik KADIR is a PhD candidate with the Institute of Positive Psychology and Education at the Australian Catholic University (IPPE/ACU). Her 12 years of working experience include teaching science to primary school students, teaching physics and mathematics to secondary school students, and working as a research associate at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice at the National Institute of Education / Nanyang Technological University and IPPE/ACU. Her research interests are cognitive and motivational aspects of learning in science education. Munirah has recently completed her PhD thesis defence and is expected to graduate this year.
