Archana Mishra MD, MS, FCCP, FACP is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine , at the Jacobs School of Medicine, University at Buffalo. She serves as the Clerkship Director for Advanced Medicine Sub-internship at the medical school. She is also the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine residency program at the university. She is passionate about teaching for which she has received many awards. Her clinical work includes caring for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit as well as those requiring clinical care for pulmonary and sleep issues at the Buffalo Veteran Affairs Medical Center. She is the recipient the Women Leaders in Medicine award by the American Medical Student Association and Humanitarian Award from the CHEST foundation. She was honored to receive the Leonard Tow Gold Humanism Award given to individuals for both clinical excellence and outstanding compassion in the delivery of care. She strives to create a joyful working environment by fostering the wellbeing of providers and trainees.
